Rain, Rain......... Are You Ever Going To Stop!

Last week we were getting hit with the tropical storms so the rain just kept coming. It rained just about everyday last week. Not just a sprinkle here and there, I mean water flowing down the street and over the gutters rain. The poor kids wanted to go outside so bad and play so bad, but with all the rain and thunderstorms had to stay in. Well I think we were all getting stir crazy by the end of the week so I just let them go out and play! I know Lincoln isn't in any of the photo's, but when I busted out the camera he decided he needed to go to the bathroom. When it comes to going to the bathroom he takes after his Uncle Jesse, family you all know what I'm talking about ;0).

I think Avery is part Kangaroo!

Red Day

Yesterday was "red day" for Linc. It was also my turn to bring the snack for the class. This week they have been talking about apples and they brought in apples Tuesday to talk about as well. Lincoln was way excited to wear his lego batman shirt since it was red and it was red day after all. I made red apple sugar cookies and granola bars for snack. I make the kids lunch each day and Liam has to have his own lunch bag as well. He gets so excited just to carry it, even though it only has a few goldfish in it. We have a step off our front porch and I love that Liam gets down like 3 feet away and starts to back off of it! Lincoln said he had a ton of fun at school and that they made apple pie, apple sauce, and had apple cider to drink!

Liam enjoying a cookie after lunch, I love this kid!

Saturday

Today the weather was overcast with a chance of rain later. It was in the low 80's, which is such a nice change, so we decided to go to Sea World for the afternoon. Jared has every weekend off this month so we try to get out and play as much as we can before another rotation consumes him again. Today it was all about the Dolphins. We went and fed them, this is one of the kids favorite things to do. Liam absolutely loves it. Each kid get's their own tray of fish and Liam just does his thing throwing them in to the Dolphins as they swim up. I have to admit this is also one of my favorite things to do as well.

The kids love the Shamu roller coaster so of course they had to go on it. They are getting so brave and starting to go by themselves. Later we watched the Alligators while we waited for the Azul dolphin show to start. Liam would get so excited during the show when the whales would come up and would scream out with excitement. The rain started to come as the show let out so we decided to come home for a little R and R! All in all it was a great day!

Water Table And Walking

Most of you know that Liam has been walking now for about 2 months. This is an amazing thing and even more amazing that he is trying to run!!!! Last month we got Liam a water table to play with out back and he lOVES it!!! I could just sit and watch this kid all day!

A Quick Visit

Last weekend my mom and her good friend, Chareese, worked a San Antonio over nighter. My mom is a flight attendant and I love her Job, that is how we get to see her all the time. They flew in around 5ish Saturday night and then had to fly out at 5ish the next morning. We picked them up at their hotel and then headed to the river walk for dinner since it was Chareese's birthday. Liam is such a good eater now, he eat's more than Linc 90% of the time.

It was getting late so we went back to Nana's hotel room where she brought the kids some surprises. Of course they loved them and all I could think of is the them beating each other with the clubs! Grandma, thank you for Avery's little dancing flower, it sits in our kitchen window sill dancing away! It was a quick visit, but I'll take anything I can get. We miss and love you so much mom!

Animal Cookies

I have this Amazing aunt in Wyoming that loves to cook and bake as much as I do. She finds the most unique cookie and cake molds ever. When I was at her house in July I saw this animal cookie box on her counter and went in for a closer look. Oh my goodness they were cookie cutters!!!!! They were so cute! She told me she has had them for over a year and hasn't even opened them yet and to take them home. She didn't have to tell me twice, I was all over it! The kid's and I had so much fun making these cute cookies and I think they turned out so adorable! I'm thinking Liam's 2nd birthday party needs to have an animal theme so I can make these. Thanks Cezanne! If you love these cutters, you can find them at William Sonoma.

Lincoln's First Day Of Preschool!

A lot of people recommended this preschool called "Mother's Day Out". It is done by the Methodist Church and has all kinds of fun activities and classes for the kids. So I called and set up a time we could come and take a look. Needless to say I enrolled Linc that same day and he was sooooo excited!!!! He goes Tuesdays and Thursdays all day long!! I too am way excited about this, as I only have Liam now on those two days and it's amazing how much I can get done with only one child! He was pretty nervous his first day and held my hand the whole way to class and hugged me for a while. If you know Linc it's like pulling teeth to get a hug so I knew he was scared. I finally said goodbye and when I came back to pick him up he was full of stories of what happened and what he did that day. I was so happy that he was happy.

Avery's First Day Of First Grade!!!

As you all know we are now living in Boerne Texas (just outside San Antonio), where you could honestly fry an egg on your head at any time of the day!!! It is soooooo hot here!!!! Avery started school two weeks after we got here and was so nervous. She had her outfit all picked out and was ready to go. We went to back to school morning and met her teacher, who is the sweetest thing ever, so she would hopefully not be quit so nervous that first day. It didn't work! The boys and I all walked Ave to her class and then to her desk where I had to pry her hand off of mine when the morning announcements started. I hated leaving her there looking so scared and lost, but I knew she would have a good day and love it. By the end of the day we were waiting for her to come out. Sure enough she had a huge smile on her face and was jumping up and down telling me how much she loved it and she made a new friend! I love that she loves it, just not that we have to get up at 6:30 to get ready and get to school by 7:30!!!! I'm learning to be a morning person, and so is Ave.

June Update.......Finally

I know it has been a while since I have updated, but moving with three kids and a husband starting his intern year leaves little time for anything else. But I am slowly getting things together. It also doesn't help when I take over 2,000 pictures in two months! But here are some of the things we did in June.

Ave and Linc helped Papa clean the hot tub, I know they were both AWESOME helpers!

Celebrated my brother Sage's 20th birthday. I love you Sage! It was so much fun to be with family, and Cezanne and Anita drove down from Wyoming for the day to surprise Sage. I love my family :0)

MMMMMM home made ice cream, thanks mom!

Life is great when you get to play with your awesome cousins in the water! Look how cute my niece's and nephew are, and of course my three little monkey's!

By the end, Liam was partied out!

We did P90X with my best friend Annie. It was a great work out, especially the pizza and brownies we ate when we took breaks! I love that Gracie joined in!

We went on a great hike with Amber, Ben, and Dillon. Avery was in heaven with all the wild flowers that were in bloom. I had to keep telling her to hurry up or else she was going to get left. I love that girl and her love of flowers!

We kidnapped my grandparents and drove up to East Canyon to spend the evening with Anita and Steve (my aunt and uncle) and see their new 5th wheel in action. I must say, it is nicer than most people's homes!!!

I was so happy to be able to make one of our family reunions. I absolutely adore my family on the Toner side. The kids had so much fun with Grandpa and Grandma Unck there! Plus both Great Grandma's and Great Grandpa. We love you all and had a great time.

Avery got her ear's pierced. I told Jared that I wanted this to be Avery's choice, and that is why I didn't do it when she was little. Well she finally started asking for them last year. So when we got to Utah we did it. Jared was not able to be here as he had to go to Texas and start his Intern year. She was very scared, but so brave. My friend Annie and her two kids, Jake and Gracie, who are practically family came to support Ave. She did so good, they did them one at a time and she didn't even cry! So now she has two cute pink crystal flowers in each ear. She is looking forward to new Halloween earing's she told me.

We went to my niece, Abby's, softball game and played in the sand with Brandon. Any chance we get to hang out with our cousins, we are all over it!

One night there was this crazy wind storm that blew over all kinds of things. Among these was my grandparents 50+ year old Walnut tree! The bad thing is those walnuts were so good, the good thing is that my cousin Mack came from Montana to get the wood so I was able to see him! Miss you Mack!

My brother Jesse graduated from the Police Acadamy in Oregon. So the kids, me, my mom, and my Aunt Cezanne all hopped in the sweet mini van and drove all day to Oregon. Nicole, my sister in-law, was so good to keep the secret from Jess and get everything all ready for us. I love you Nicole!!! I have never met her family since I wasn't able to go to their wedding so it was nice to put some cute faces with names. We had so much fun for the whole day and a half we were there. Thank you Oregon family for taking us in and feeding us!

Poor Liam was sooo tired, then he finally gave in.

Afterwards we went back to Nicole's parents house where they had an amazing meal for us. Nicole was so cute and had toys for the kids to play with, but I think the adults had a little fun with them as well.

Later we walked down to the park. The kids loved playing with Uncle Jess and Nicole.

Hours after getting back from Oregon we left for Green River Wyoming. Poor Liam ended up getting sick and we had to leave early, but we had a great time while we were there!

Hot dogs always taste better over an open fire, and with family!

Anita thanking the S'mores God!

Having some fun with our awesome friends that we miss more than they know! Lincoln LOVED the power wheel. I loved that he would take Liam all over in it for some brotherly bonding time. I just wish they didn't cost so much darn it.

Eating Kit-Kat's at Grandma and Grandpa's house, every time we went. Thanks for keeping your candy jar stocked for us!

Eating sand and finding out that it does not taste as good as it looks.

Playing in the water at Grandma's and not caring who see's you in your awesome Spider Man underwear.

These are just some of the fun things we did in June. I'll try to get July up, but I need to post things we are actually doing right now. Until then, have fun!
