Loves Of My Life

I have decided that my life would be very boring without these amazing people in it!! I have LOVED spending all this time with Jared! I love him soooo much. The kids have also loved being here and spending time with their dad. He is amazing with them and we all have so much fun together.

We are having a great time here in Florida!!! Avery got a new "hair wig" and has worn it all day today! She loves it!!! Honestly though, have you seen anything cuter?!

Getting Excited For Spring Break 2008!!!

I LOVE Spring Break! By the time March rolls around for us we are ready to get out of dodge and do something fun together. We leave tomorrow for North Carolina for a quick night with Aunt Kathy and Uncle Richard and then off to Disney World!!!!! Friday night we are excited to stay with my awesome cousin and her family and then go on a St. Patty's Day canoe trip! This should be exciting with the four kids! Avery and Lincoln can't wait to see their cousins. After that we are meeting up with Jared's parents (whom we can't wait to see) to spend 7 fun days soaking up all that Disney has to offer, Tea with Cinderella and Dinner with Sleeping Beauty are just some of the fun things on our list.

1. What were you doing ten years ago?

Well, I was 19 and trying to figure out my life. I lived on my own in Utah. Pretty boring so far.

2. Five things on my to-do list today:

-Take Avery to pre-school and pick her up
-Go to the bank
-Go to the grocery store
-Do some laundry that is slowly consuming our
room.
-Post office
I know you are all jealous of my fabulous day so far!!


3. What snacks do I enjoy?

Cookies from Wegmens,candy,fruit flats,fruit,Swiss chocolate because our chocolate sucks,pita chips with hummus dip, Golden Grams without milk. Hmmmm maybe I should go to the gym tomorrow??????

4. What would you do if you were suddenly a billionaire?

Pay off our zillion dollar loan for Jareds school!!! Go on a awesome vacation with family and friends. Buy a house in Arizona so I can go there when we are done with this adventure and be warm.

5. Three bad habits:
Being late(thanks mom), sleeping in, Staying up too late at night(went to bed at 1:30last night)

-paper girl

-sales girl at copper rivet in the mall (where I met Jared)

8. Five things people don't know about me:


1- I agree with Raschel, tagging is lame, but what are you going to do.


2- I hate cold weather!!!! I hate snow!!!!! Looking back I don't know why I didn't leave Utah sooner??? That is why I need to become a Billionaire so I can get my house in Arizona!!



3- I love to draw. I haven't been able to do this very often since I have two great kids that demand a lot of attention.


4- I want a hairless cat. Yes, I know they do look like an R.O.U.S but I love cats, just not the fur. Plus I love to cuddle with animals and since they need you to help keep them warm they are way cuddly!

5- I hate sea food, except for Halibut! I think it is soooo grose and the smell of it is aweful!!!! Poor Jared loves it, thank goodness the hamburger is universal!

Making Friends

We had our Primary activity, breakfast with your teacher, and since Jared and I are sunbeam teachers we were able to share in the joy of the primary on saturday morning! As we were frantically running around the table cutting pancakes and getting juice for our 7 sunbeams we took a moment to look at all the other teachers sitting with their class enjoying breakfast and laughing, pointing fingers at "the sunbeam teachers!"
Avery has made some great friends since we have been here and loves to play with them. We love it here in Virginia, and do not miss the snow at all!!! We do however miss family. I don't know why, they are all crazy:)Especially my sister in law Mindi!:)

Lincoln is 2!!!

Lincoln is 2 and I have no idea where the time has gone!! We had some friends over for cake and stuff and had a great time!! Lincoln is into presents now, he got a new chair just like Avery's and was way excited about that. They are too cute together!

The Problem

So after Lincolns birthday party we go to put the kids to bed and Lo and behold Linc has a little gift of his own for us, yes he learned how to climb out of his crib. As we watched with tears in our eyes and the images of the beloved afternoon naps slowly fade into the background Lincoln completes his feat and then says "I did it!" with all the excitement as someone who has just won the superbowl. We, of course, decided to turn the crib into the dreaded toddler bed. It was all fun and games until about midnight and a hundred "jumps" off the final stair to the living room hall where he then would shout, "Ta-Da!!". Mom and Dad were done, Avery went into her bed and Jared layed with Linc until he fell asleep. As we finally went to bed that night these were the thoughts for some solutions that ran through our minds,
-mattress on top?
-Chicken wire?
-Im sure Steve can get us some shrink wrap?
