We had our first real ice storm last week and it was crazy!!! It was so cold and when it started to rain it was mostly ice. Nobody could get into their cars because they were incased in a sheet of ice. At first I thought it was just frost on the trees until I looked closer and could see the ice. Still with as much trouble as it caused (the roads were a mess) you can see how beautiful it was, make sure you click on the pictures to inlarge them so you can get a good look:)

Our first week ever in VA there was a huge ice storm and even church was canceled! We experienced lots when we were there - can't believe it is your first one. It's beautiful when the sun shines on everything. Nothing like that in TX.
