A Home Of Our Own

Our house is finished!!!! I have waited soooo long to be able to say that and I must say it feels awesome! Jared is going to do the walk through on Monday and we should be able to close on the 30th! The kids and I are still here in Utah, but excited to get on the road on the 1st WOOHOO!!!!

I am excited to have a new home all to ourselves, but what I am most excited about is this.........

a HUGE backyard to play in and a fence so I don't have to worry about the kids!!!! It's looking a little on the plain side right now, but after I get a hold of it it should look pretty amazing!!!

A Major Milestone

When Liam was born the Dr's didn't know if he would walk or not. Being a parent a million things run through your head at that very moment and you are already planning on ramps, lower counters, and where to buy whealchairs. Looking at him when he was first born and his little legs were in traction and thinking that he might never get to run after his brother and sister, or that it would never be easy for him to get around broke my heart. But we never gave up hope.

When it came time to bring Liam home the Dr's gave him a 50% chance of walking. Later they then said that he would probably walk with the aid of a walker of some sort one day. I was soooo excited to hear that we could at least walk on his own two feet, even if he did have a walker. The kids and I would go to this park in Virgina called Clemyjontir Park. It's an amazing park with a unique playground where children of all abilities can play side-by-side.

One day while we were they I saw a little boy about 2 years old with the cutest little walker having the time of his life! I was holding Liam and honestly sobbing! It was pretty bad, poor Ave and Linc probably thought I had finally lost it! But they were good tears and seeing that little boy so happy even with all that he has going on just made my year!

Later Liam was able to work with a Physical Therapist and eventually learned how to sit up by himself by age 6 months and was able to crawl a month after his first birthday.

I am soooo excited to say that Liam has hit another MAJOR milestone and walked half way across the living room floor all by himself!!!! Of course I was trying so hard to hold back the tears of udder joy. When he fell down he turned and looked up at me as to say, "Did you see me mom, I did it!!!" I picked him up and cheered and danced around the room for a bit! Liam you are amazing, and continue to conquer anything that comes your way. We love you!

Avery's Last Day Of School And Moving

Avery's last day of school was May 28th. She was so sad and excited all at the same time. Her class put together a cute book for her and each kid colored her a picture. We took in doughnuts for everyone to say goodbye and then she was done. She had such a great experience in Kindergarten and made some amazing friends. Her best friend would be Lily. They were so cute together, I hope she is able to find other great friends in Texas when we get there.

That night my mom got here to help us move our stuff to Texas. The next day friends from our ward came and helped us move all the box's and large things. We all worked so hard all day. Finally we left at about 9 p.m. that night. We only drove about 2 hours till we stopped and slept for the night. The next two days were filled with lots and lots of driving. Jared drove the moving truck with his car on a trailer, and the rest of us were in the van.

The kids needed to stop so we pulled off somewhere at the high school for lunch.
Liam enjoying the center of an oreo!

I just want a hug!!!

Our crazy drivers.

Liam did not like the feel of the sidewalk on his knees, so he switched it up a bit.

Our second night at a hotel.

On the 31st of May we finally arived in San Antonio!! The next day Jared and I went to the strage unit and unloaded the truck. It was a million degrees and we were in the direct sun light, of course. I had hurt my back a couple of weeks ago so I was not much help. Poor Jared did most of it with me sitting on the chair cheering him on. He is such a good man, not once did he get frustrated. It took us all day, but we got it done. My mom and the kids were at the hotel waiting for us. She was a life saver.

June 2nd, we all went to Sea World. It was 98 with 100% humidity that day, we were melting. We all lasted only 2 hours, but we got season tickets since it's only a 20 min. drive from where we will be living.

Nana and Jared took Ave and Linc on the Shamu coaster while Liam and I watched from the side.

The boy's played at the water park for a bit, just the splash pad part. They loved it and I was sad I didn't wear my swim suit, it was so hot!

We watched them feed the Gaters.

We watched the BIG roller coaster speed over and by us!

And fially we watched the Sea Lion show. The kids LOVED it! Liam just sat there with my mom and watched the whole thing too. He would get so excited when the animals would come out. We can't wait to go back.......when it's a little cooler or with our swim suits!

We then went to see our new house!!!!! It was coming along great and we can't wait to see the finished product!

The next day, June 3rd, we left for Utah. Jared dropped my mom off at the airport and then we all drove for two more days to Ogden. We arrived about 6:30 p.m. on Friday the 4th. We were all soooo glad to get out of the van!!!! Avery is under her blanket, Linc is behind the wall of stuff, they were all sound asleep. It was awesome!

We are staying in Utah till the first week of August. Jared has to be back to Texas the middle of June to go to work. I'll try to keep up the blog, but I don't have my beloved photoshop :(.

Odds And Ends That Got Missed This Month

It has been a mad house here this month with graduation, moving, Dr. appointment's, etc. So one thing was the kids had to go get a check up. I adore our dentist and will miss her!!! This was Liam's first check up and was not very happy about it. Avery had to man the camera so I could take care of Liam. I think she did a pretty good job! And yes they were all cavity free!

Playing out front, finding bugs, and jumping!

Avery teaching Liam how to paint his toes while Linc watches cartoons.

Play dates with friends.

Playing at the park with friends.

Liam learned how to walk along things!!!! He tires out quickly and has to take a little break in the middle. Then he is ready to go.

Making chocolate chip cookies!

Had a going away party for Avery with her Kindergarten class.

Horsey rides with papa and playing on the patio!

We have had a busy month and it's not even over yet!
