Sooner Than Later

We were able to go and have Liam's other scan done on the 6th. I felt so bad for him. They had to strap him to a board and insert a catheter into his vesicostomy. Because it is wider than a urethera and he was crying so hard he pushed it out 3 times with the little balloon inflated. My heart broke watching him flex in pain. He is such a strong little boy to get through all of these procedures. After we were done we went up to meet with his Urologist (whom we LOVE!). His reflux is not getting better and he doesn't want to take any risks with damaging his kidneys. So that means Surgery two years sooner than we had planned. So as soon as we get to Texas we have to start getting ready for Liam to have another major surgery. We have been researching Pediatric Urologists and other surgeons. It was not the news we were ready to hear and a lot of stress and worry has come with it. But I know we will land on our feet. I know that we were meant to go to San Antonio and I believe that things happen for a reason. For now we are just taking one thing at a time and right now it is Graduation and being with family.

My heart breaks for you and your sweet little boy. We will be praying that you find good doctors in TX and that all goes well with this surgery.

Good luck, that is a lot to worry about. He is so adorable and has had to go through so much!
